On 30 June 2026, Cameroon’s minister of transport, Jean Ernest Masséna Ngallè Bibéhè, met with senior officials from the National Printing Office and Impact Palmarès R&D to assess new technological approaches designed to enhance the security of administrative documents and transport titles.

The ministry is pushing forward with efforts to modernise and safeguard official paperwork. During the meeting, the minister received the director general of the National Printing Office, Oyono Bika Pierre, and the CEO of Impact Palmarès R&D, Léonie Kwekam.

Impact Palmarès R&D presented a technical proposal that relies on several cutting-edge technologies to strengthen the protection of official records against forgery. The suggested system aims to make documents much harder to duplicate while streamlining authentication processes.

Talks also covered the security of transport documents issued by the ministry, tamper-proof marking of letterhead paper, ways to improve the traceability of administrative records, and methods to boost non-tax revenue collection.

While welcoming the promise of the proposed solutions, the transport minister stressed the need for deeper technical, legal, administrative, and financial assessments before any rollout. The reform is meant to reinforce the reliability and safety of official documents across Cameroon.
