Emmanuel Nadingar, President of the Universal Peace Federation’s Chadian chapter, held a press briefing on May 23 at the Sabangali headquarters in N’Djaména’s third arrondissement.
During the session, the former Prime Minister drew attention to the urgent need for peace amid escalating global conflicts driven by resource competition. He highlighted how such tensions often push communities to close ranks, a trend he noted was also visible in Chad’s socio-political landscape.
While acknowledging that «significant developments have unfolded» in the country without elaborating further, Emmanuel Nadingar emphasized the importance of unity to overcome the challenges ahead.
He called on all Chadians to reject division, isolationism, and violence, stressing that a sincere and open dialogue is essential for fostering lasting peace. «Our strength lies in our togetherness,» he stated, urging collective action to address the nation’s pressing issues.
The Universal Peace Federation, an international NGO founded in 2005 with a presence in over 190 countries, serves as the platform for Emmanuel Nadingar’s advocacy in Chad.
