The recent general assembly concluded with the election of a new Board of Directors and an Executive Bureau. These bodies, comprising 27 and 12 members respectively, are now tasked with representing all stakeholders within the water sector, encompassing both public and private entities.
Simultaneously, an Extraordinary General Assembly was dedicated to the presentation and approval of the Association’s moral and financial reports. Members also adopted a resolution to amend AMEPA’s statutes. This strategic modification aims to adapt the organization’s operations to the evolving landscape of the water sector in Morocco and to invigorate its initiatives, particularly in the critical area of industrial sovereignty.

Established in 1997, AMEPA currently unites over 95 active members. This diverse membership includes a broad range of public and private operators, regional multiservice companies (SRM), concessionaires, as well as industrial firms and specialized engineering and construction companies focused on potable water and sanitation solutions.
Through this newly established governance, the Association aims to cultivate a more integrated and collaborative ecosystem. The overarching objective is to elevate Moroccan industry, engineering expertise, and local know-how in the water domain to an exemplary level of excellence, achieving recognition not only nationally but also across the continent and on the international stage.
