An awareness campaign for the Chadian community

During the execution of this repatriation, consular services actively conducted vital information sessions for Chadian nationals living in Benghazi. These discussions focused on the regulatory framework governing the stay of foreign nationals in Libya, alongside a clear articulation of the inherent risks linked to irregular migration. The explicit goal was to empower members of the Chadian community with better information, thereby mitigating instances of vulnerability and encouraging adherence to existing legal provisions. Chadian authorities underscore this repatriation as a key component of their ongoing commitment to protecting citizens residing outside the nation’s borders. They also noted that further support operations might be arranged, leveraging the assistance of international partners, to address the evolving needs of Chadian citizens settled abroad.
