Budget 2027 and long-term fiscal strategy take center stage

The CIP-UEMOA delegation, led by its acting president Fononna Cheick Ahmed Coulibaly, shared critical insights into the discussions. The session, running from July 13 to 18, 2026, is primarily focused on financial planning and regional cohesion.

« This meeting provided an opportunity to present the draft budget for 2027 and the multiannual financial framework for 2027-2029, which will guide our collective priorities in the coming years, » explained Coulibaly.

Half-year review and roadmap for integration

The parliamentarians also reviewed progress made in the first half of 2026, identifying key achievements and allocating resources for the second half. Seeking strategic guidance from Dr. Djingarey, they aimed to accelerate West African integration through strengthened policy alignment.
