The Kingdom of Morocco is reinforcing its commitment to humanitarian action as a central pillar of its foreign policy and African cooperation, guided by the visionary leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, as highlighted by Ambassador Mohamed Arrouchi during a public session of the African Union’s Peace and Security Council (AU CPS).
Speaking at the AU CPS meeting on refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and humanitarian assistance in Africa, Morocco’s Permanent Representative to the AU and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) emphasized that the country, under the enlightened guidance of His Majesty the King, has made humanitarian relief a priority in its diplomatic and development engagements across the continent. No effort is spared, he stated, to address humanitarian crises wherever they arise in Africa.
