Morocco is stepping up efforts to secure the financial backing required for the Atlantic African Gas Pipeline (AAGP), a landmark initiative developed in collaboration with Nigeria. The North African nation is actively pursuing a $26 billion funding package from the U.S. Export-Import Bank and the World Bank, as confirmed by Morocco’s ambassador to the United States, Youssef Amrani.
