Manchester United is said to be closely monitoring the situation for the 26-year-old midfielder. Yet two main obstacles are preventing a possible move to the Red Devils.
“Real Madrid is not inclined to open the door for Tchouaméni”
The two issues surrounding Tchouaméni remain unchanged. The first is his salary. He commands a high wage, and at this point, that does not align with what Manchester United intends to do. United admires him and views him as a fantastic player. But for now, Real Madrid is not keen on opening the door for Tchouaméni. A phone call from Real Madrid to Manchester United indicating he is for sale has not happened. Should that call come, United would be ready to try.
