Arsène Kouassi, the skilled Burkina Faso left-back, has made a significant impact at FC Lorient this season, contributing with two goals and eight assists in 31 appearances. However, his future with the French club appears increasingly uncertain as top European teams vie for his signature.

Over the past month, several prominent clubs have reached out to Lorient regarding a potential transfer, including Germany’s Bayer Leverkusen and VfB Stuttgart, Italy’s Genoa and AS Roma, as well as England’s Bournemouth. The latter shares ownership with Lorient, raising speculation about a possible reunion with compatriot Dango Ouattara, who recently joined the Cherries.

With Kouassi’s market value pegged at €15 million, the odds of him remaining at Lorient next season are slim unless an eleventh-hour change occurs. Clubs are keen to secure his services, and the Burkina Faso international could soon embark on a new chapter in his career abroad.
