The bishops emphasized that the most pressing concern remains the deteriorating security situation in the eastern regions of the country. Despite multiple peace agreements, armed groups continue to wreak havoc, targeting civilians and displacing thousands. The humanitarian crisis unfolding in these areas has reached alarming levels, with displaced populations facing extreme hardship.
