Rabat, Morocco and Amman, Jordan have formalized their commitment to enhanced judicial cooperation by signing a significant extradition agreement on Friday, August 28, 2026. This accord aims to strengthen legal and institutional frameworks governing justice between the two nations.
The signing ceremony took place in Rabat, with Morocco’s Minister of Justice, Abdellatif Ouahbi, and his Jordanian counterpart, Bassam Samir Al-Talhouni, affixing their signatures. The agreement followed extensive discussions focused on advancing judicial collaboration between the two countries.

A framework for transferring wanted or convicted individuals
