According to an early morning update from law enforcement, a total of ten individuals were detained in connection with post-match festivities. Three were held for phone theft in central Paris, four for weapons-related violence and conspiracy to commit violence, also in Paris, and three for illegal fireworks in Seine-Saint-Denis. It remains unclear at this stage whether these detentions resulted in formal custody proceedings.

Light injury reported in seventh arrondissement brawl

A power outage disrupted the live screening of the match at the Grand Rex cinema, forcing fans to gather in nearby bars. After the final whistle, crowds spilled onto the streets, briefly disrupting traffic. Police intervention quickly restored order, preventing any further escalation.

In the seventh arrondissement, near the Quai Jacques Chirac, a scuffle broke out around midnight, resulting in a minor injury when a supporter was stabbed in the hip. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Security services had flagged this quarterfinal clash as a high-risk event due to its high stakes and late kickoff time. A security briefing noted that “public gatherings accompanied by pyrotechnics were anticipated, regardless of the match outcome.”
