The Paris Saint-Germain squad arrived in Budapest on Friday, just one day ahead of their high-stakes Champions League final against Arsenal. While France battles through a relentless heatwave, the French capital’s representatives will find respite in the Hungarian capital, where conditions promise to be far more conducive for elite football.

Cool conditions await PSG in Hungary

Luis Enrique’s men touched down under clear skies and temperatures hovering around 20°C, a stark contrast to the scorching conditions back in Paris. The squad is set to begin preparations on Friday afternoon, with a training session scheduled for 4:45 PM local time, followed by the pre-match press conference at the Puskás Aréna.

Optimal playing conditions expected

The match kicks off at 6:00 PM local time—earlier than the usual 9:00 PM slot—placing it under partly cloudy skies without any risk of rain. Forecasts indicate a peak temperature of just 24°C, ensuring players won’t be sapped by the kind of extreme heat gripping France.

No absentees as PSG targets back-to-back titles

With a fully fit squad, the Parisian side arrives in Hungary with no injury concerns. Lucas Chevalier, Achraf Hakimi, and Ousmane Dembélé—all recently sidelined—have been included in the final 23-man lineup. The Spanish coach’s confidence in his squad reflects the club’s ambition to secure a second consecutive Champions League trophy.
