Ryanair expands winter routes in Morocco with 17 new flights, Rabat secures seven
This winter, Ryanair is set to launch its largest-ever flight program in Morocco, introducing 17 new routes, seven of which will originate from Rabat, totaling 5.3 million available seats.
Come winter 2026, Ryanair will operate 156 routes connecting the Kingdom to 14 European destinations. Rabat stands out as the biggest winner of the announced openings, followed by Marrakech and Agadir, each gaining five new connections.
The specific European cities and flight frequencies remain undisclosed at this stage. However, the expansion confirms the airline’s commitment to boosting its network across Morocco’s top three tourist hubs.
Local tourism authorities highlight this initiative as a historic milestone for Ryanair in Morocco, aligning with broader efforts to enhance the country’s air accessibility.
Thirteen Moroccan airports to benefit from expansion
The airline’s footprint will grow in 13 airports nationwide, including key destinations like Fès, Tétouan, Essaouira, Ouarzazate, Dakhla, and Nador. This move complements the newly announced routes from Rabat, Marrakech, and Agadir, aiming to distribute tourist flows more evenly across regions and elevate the profile of lesser-known Moroccan cities on European travel maps.
