The Portuguese striker is on his way out of Paris.
Gonçalo Ramos, the 25-year-old Portugal international forward, is finalising a move from Paris Saint-Germain to AC Milan. Both clubs have reached a full agreement, and the player has also given his green light. He now awaits the final formalities before signing with the Rossoneri. The deal is expected to be announced in the coming days.
Ramos joined PSG three years ago from Benfica and spent two seasons battling for a starting spot in a packed attack. He will now reunite with compatriot Ruben Amorim, recently appointed Milan head coach, in Serie A. The forward is excited to relaunch his career in Italy.
A record-breaking fee for the Lombardy club.
The transfer is set to become the most expensive in AC Milan history. Previous record holder Rafael Leão arrived from Lille for €50 million. This time, the total package could reach €70 million including bonuses, according to Italian sources. The sum is notably high for a club that will only compete in the Europa League next season.
A solid profit for PSG.
From a financial perspective, this operation is a clear win for the Parisian side. PSG originally paid €65 million to Benfica in summer 2023 and are now set to make a comfortable profit, despite Ramos not having been a regular starter in Paris. The medical examination has reportedly already been completed, leaving only the official announcement of the transfer between the two clubs.
