Dakar – Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko and his cabinet members will appear before legislators today for the quarterly accountability session, as mandated by the Constitution and Article 104 of the National Assembly’s internal regulations.

Scheduled to last 202 minutes, the session will feature 14 questions—10 reserved for the ruling Pastef-Les Patriotes group, 2 for the opposition Takku Wallu faction, and 2 for independent deputies.

This exercise underscores the government’s commitment to transparency in public affairs, reinforcing democratic oversight mechanisms.

The session marks the fifth accountability meeting since the Prime Minister took office and will be chaired by Ismaëla Diallo, First Vice-President of the National Assembly.
