The Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Frank Garcia, engaged in productive talks with Chad’s Ambassador to the United States, Mahamat Tahir Orozi, at the State Department in Washington, D.C. The meeting follows the announcement of upcoming celebrations marking 66 years of diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Chad in August.
With a shared focus on bolstering stability and economic growth, both diplomats explored ways to strengthen security cooperation while fostering private sector investments and trade between the two nations.
