Algerian Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, Abdelkader Djellaoui, was recently welcomed in N’Djamena by Allamaye Halina, the Prime Minister and Head of Government of the Republic of Chad. During their meeting, Prime Minister Halina lauded the significant efforts of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune in advancing bilateral cooperation and acknowledged his pivotal leadership role across the African continent.

The Chadian Premier specifically commended President Tebboune’s profound wisdom, his impactful leadership, and his unwavering commitment to strengthening cooperation and fostering integration between the two fraternal nations. Halina underscored his country’s deep appreciation for Algeria’s crucial contributions to supporting African development initiatives and promoting continental solidarity.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Halina conveyed the fraternal greetings from Chad’s Head of State, President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, to his Algerian counterpart, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. This gesture highlighted the enduring historical bonds, profound brotherhood, and shared solidarity that unite the peoples and governments of both countries.

Allamaye Halina also extended his cordial greetings to Algerian Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb, reiterating the Chadian government’s steadfast dedication to enhancing bilateral cooperation and broadening the scope of partnership with Algeria across various sectors.

The Algerian delegation present at the audience, which marked the conclusion of Minister Djellaoui’s two-day working visit to Chad, included Abed Hallouz, the Director General of the Algerian Agency for International Cooperation for Solidarity and Development, along with Algeria’s Ambassador to Chad. Also in attendance were a senior official from the Ministry of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, and the Chief Executive Officers of Cosider Public Works and the National Public Works Company (ENTP).
