The Ministry of Security and Civil Protection has significantly bolstered the operational capabilities of Mali’s security forces by handing over twenty vehicles and specialized equipment, entirely financed through national funding. This milestone ceremony, held on July 31, 2026, was led by General of Division Daoud Aly MOHAMMEDINE. The newly acquired fleet includes six sixty-seat buses, a recovery vehicle, two 20,000-liter Spiros tankers, eight 4,000-liter fire tankers, and three 50,000-liter fire-pump tankers. These resources were allocated to the National Police, Civil Protection, National Gendarmerie, National Guard, and the Staff College of the Security Forces.

General MOHAMMEDINE emphasized that these acquisitions reflect the commitment of Transition President General of Army Assimi to enhance the operational readiness of Mali’s Armed and Security Forces, ensuring a secure environment aligned with the aspirations of the Malian people. He highlighted the critical role of adaptive logistics in improving the mobility and responsiveness of security personnel against evolving threats.

General of Brigade Boucary KODIO, Director General of Civil Protection, underscored the recipients’ dedication to managing these assets responsibly. The ceremony concluded with a live demonstration of the fire tankers, showcasing their rapid deployment capabilities in emergency scenarios.
