In a landmark move to strengthen academic collaboration between Morocco and Spain, two leading associations have formalized a strategic partnership focused on advancing management sciences.
The agreement was officially signed on Saturday in Santander, Spain, uniting the Moroccan Association of Management (AMG), headquartered in Rabat, with Spain’s Scientific Association of Economics and Business Management (ACEDE).
Expanding research and academic exchanges
This memorandum of understanding lays out a robust framework for joint initiatives, including:
- Facilitating scientific exchanges between scholars, researchers, and PhD candidates from both nations
- Launching collaborative research projects to deepen insights in management studies
- Co-organizing academic events to foster dialogue and knowledge sharing
- Enhancing the integration of early-career academics into global research networks
Strengthening global research networks
Both associations, which are members of the International Federation of Scholarly Associations of Management (IFSAM), are committed to elevating the quality and reach of management research across Morocco and Spain. By pooling resources and expertise, they aim to produce high-impact studies that address contemporary challenges in business administration and organizational leadership.
The partnership also places strong emphasis on nurturing the next generation of academics. Doctoral students and young scholars will benefit from mentorship programs, joint workshops, and opportunities to present their findings at international conferences.
Spain’s leading voice in management sciences
The ACEDE stands as Spain’s premier academy dedicated to economics and business management. Established in 1990, it brings together over 700 university professors and researchers who are dedicated to advancing rigorous scholarship and improving teaching standards in business administration and related fields.
With this collaboration, the AMG and ACEDE are setting the stage for a new era of academic cooperation, one that bridges continents and cultivates innovation in management education and research.
