Matar Ndiaga Seck, a figure closely associated with Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko, has been apprehended by the Division of Criminal Investigations (DIC). His detention comes after a search warrant was formally issued by the police station in Linguère.
The arrest is part of a wider probe involving the apprehension of 22 people for suspected homosexuality within the Djoloff area. Investigators have moved forward with the arrest of Seck, citing “consistent evidence” that reportedly ties him to these alleged acts against nature.
