On Wednesday in Rabat, Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, met with Crispin Mbadu Phanzu, the Deputy Minister to the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Francophonie, and Congolese Abroad of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The envoy carried a personal message from DRC President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo addressed to King Mohammed VI.
Following the talks, Mr. Mbadu Phanzu spoke to the press, praising the strong bilateral cooperation between Morocco and the DRC, rooted in a long-shared history. He explained that his visit to the Kingdom focused on promoting the DRC’s candidacy for the post of Secretary General of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF).
