On June 2, 2026, the Kingdom of Morocco took center stage at Düsseldorf’s Konsularischer Abend, a high-profile event celebrating seven decades of Moroccan-German relations. The gala brought together 300 key political and economic figures to highlight the strong partnership between Rabat and Berlin.

Morocco’s Consul General in Düsseldorf, Boutaina Bouabid, and Ismail Lamghari, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, underscored the depth of the strategic alliance between the two nations. They also praised the vital contributions of the Moroccan community in Germany, which serves as a cultural and economic bridge between the countries.

Organized with support from the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT), the event showcased Morocco’s growing appeal and rich heritage. Highlights included screenings of the country’s latest achievements, a traditional caftan fashion display, and a mesmerizing Gnawa musical performance.

This landmark gathering reaffirmed both nations’ commitment to deepening their diplomatic, economic, and cultural cooperation for years to come.
