Initially joining on loan during the winter transfer window, Noham Kamara’s purchase option has now been activated, making him an official Lyon player until 2030.
Noham Kamara, the 19-year-old (1.85 m) French U20 international, has officially completed his permanent move to Olympique Lyonnais, signing a contract that extends until 2030. Kamara initially joined OL from Paris Saint-Germain during the final hours of the winter transfer window on a loan deal that included a purchase option. Lyon has now exercised this option, committing 4.1 million euros for the transfer. The agreement also includes a potential bonus of 2 million euros and a 20% sell-on clause on any future profit from the player’s resale.
The versatile defender, who is adept at playing both in central defense and as a right-back, honed his skills in the Paris region before progressing through the youth academy ranks at PSG. Since his arrival at Olympique Lyonnais, Kamara has made two appearances in the league, showcasing his potential on the field.
