The PASTEF-Les Patriotes party successfully wrapped up a two-day political initiative across the Jolof region. This extensive tour, which covered all 19 communes within the Linguère department—spanning from Dahra to Barkédji, and including key areas like Sagatta and Yang-Yang—saw the active participation of party leader Ousmane Sonko. He was joined by Minister of State Habib Sy, alongside numerous national executives and allied figures from the coalition.

A central feature of this engagement was a series of meetings with local religious and customary leaders. These discussions took place concurrently with interactions involving the party’s foundational structures, encompassing youth movements, women’s groups, and executive cadres. Following this significant mobilization, the local leadership of PASTEF formalized its strategic roadmap for upcoming phases. With the official opening of their departmental headquarters and the commencement of member card distribution, PASTEF aims to significantly strengthen its presence and territorial reach. This strategy emphasizes a community-focused approach, engaging directly with villages and neighborhoods throughout the department.

In parallel with these internal organizational efforts, local political officials are extending an open invitation. They call upon militants, sympathizers, and political actors from other affiliations who share their vision to join their territorial development project, further enhancing the dynamic landscape of African politics in West Africa.
