The head coach of the Senegalese Under-17 national team, Lamine Sané, has announced the final squad of 23 players selected for the CAN U17 Morocco 2026, kicking off on May 13 and concluding on June 2.

The goalkeeper trio includes Assane Sarr (Ndangane FC), who returns to Morocco after playing in the previous edition, alongside Daouda Alassane Ba (Génération Foot) and Mamadou D. Gueye (Diambars FC).

However, the squad faces one major setback: the exclusion of Bara Gueye, the standout performer from the recent African School Championship U15 in Zimbabwe. Originally preselected, Gueye withdrew due to injury sustained during a training camp.
In preparation for the tournament, the team will travel to Tunisia for a friendly match against the Tunisian U17 side to fine-tune their tactics ahead of the continental showdown.
