During his address, Ambassador Richard Duke Buchan III underscored the importance of the Moroccan Sahara, stating: “We fully endorse His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s vision for the Moroccan Sahara to become a pivotal hub for transatlantic partnerships and opportunities.” He further highlighted the enduring historical ties between Morocco and the United States, affirming: “This deeply rooted partnership, strengthened by mutual trust and forward-looking for the next 250 years, exemplifies our dedication to enhancing economic and human connections between our nations.”
