Partner taxpayers registered with the small-business tax centres (CIPE) in Parakou, Comè and Lokossa will gain progressive access to the DGI’s e-services platform starting 21 September 2026. The move represents a decisive acceleration of Benin’s digital tax agenda.

The rollout also enables online issuance of key tax documents, including payment receipts and tax compliance certificates. The DGI will run awareness and training sessions to help affected taxpayers navigate the platform confidently.

This expansion targets partner taxpayers under the three CIPEs and widens access to the dematerialised tax services the administration already offers.

Three staggered launch dates signal a clear break with the past

The timetable is set in three stages: 21 September in Parakou, 28 September in Comè and 5 October in Lokossa. At each milestone, the taxpayers concerned can log on to the DGI e-services platform to complete their procedures.

Available services include filing obligations and payments, as well as access to certain tax certificates. The administration’s stated goal is to cut down trips to physical counters and ease the administrative burden tied to these formalities.

This extension is part of Benin’s gradual digitalisation of tax procedures. For the partner taxpayers involved, the first operational deadline is 21 September 2026 in Parakou, followed by Comè a week later and Lokossa on 5 October.
