The Malian Armed Forces (FAMA) have reported neutralizing approximately 100 armed fighters during coordinated military operations in the northern regions of Anfif and Tabrachat, in partnership with allied forces.
Targeted strikes dismantle armed group networks
In an official statement, the army confirmed that the operations focused on eliminating combatants from the Group for the Support of Islam and Muslims (JNIM) and the Azavad Liberation Front (FLA). The campaign included 13 precision airstrikes that successfully destroyed six armored vehicles and a utility pickup truck, significantly disrupting rebel logistics.

The FAMA emphasized that these operations took place on Tuesday, reaffirming their commitment to a rigorous and disciplined counter-insurgency campaign across multiple regions. The statement highlighted ongoing coordination with international partners to ensure sustained pressure on armed factions operating in northern Mali.

In a parallel statement on X, the Africa Corps reported extensive damage to militant vehicle fleets, including the incineration of several combat-ready units. The Corps also noted the deployment of a drone strike that neutralized a vehicle transporting munitions and military equipment, further crippling insurgent capabilities.
